The Moulin des Tricoterie has assumed several functions since it was built in 1755. First as a wheat mill it was then successively turned into a farm, a group accommodation, a camping and a fishing pond. It was linked first to production by its function and for economic reasons, then later to touristic development. The mill has always been a place of social life opened on the outside.

For some inhabitants of the village and its surroundings, the place is still associated to moments of party, of relaxation, meetings or work.

After having stayed uninhabited for several decades, the mill has become again today a living place but also of activity : it is the headquarters of La chambre d’eau that had during years its office there and still host artistic residencies and organize punctual events.
